We are a family owned and operated business and value the families that have been our neighbors, customers and friends for twenty years. Due to concerns about alcohol consumption and objectionable language on the river we will no longer rent "cooler tubes" or allow alcohol in coolers on our shuttle bus. We respect our neighbors and families on the river and support their right to a peaceful and quiet environment. We also respect the rights of our customers to have a great day enjoying the serenity of the Gunpowder. Please save your adult beverage for parties at home.

Option 1  (Take the Tube Shuttle Bus)

Its fast and comfortable. shuttle takes you upriver to a drop off point (we cannot provide transportation  to your vehicle). Tube back to the Monkton bridge, about  2 1/2 to 3 hours.

Option 2 (Walk): 1 and 1/2 hours float time (river conditions apply)

Out our door, turn right, cross the parking lot. To the right of the train station you will see a white stone (bike) path.  Walk  approx 15 min,   you will find a path, turn left ( BLUE  mark on tree) enter here.  This is what you see.

Float down the river and have a great time.

Exit the river, under the bridge at Monkton Road, this is the first bridge you come to (RIGHT SIDE ONLY !!!!!!!)

Walk up the concrete embankment to the road surface then walk across the bridge toward the bike path and our store.

Option 3 (Walk): 2 and 1/2 hours float time (river conditions apply)

Out our door, turn right, cross the parking lot. To the right of the train station you will see a white stone (bike) path.  Walk  approx 30 min, until you reach 2 (two) ORANGE poles, turn left and enter the river.

Float down the river and have a great time.

Exit the river, under the bridge at Monkton Road, this is the first bridge you come to (RIGHT SIDE ONLY !!!!!!!)

Walk up the concrete embankment to the road surface then walk across the bridge toward the bike path and our store.
